Independent learning
We develop students who are active rather than passive in their learning. They are trained to take charge of their studies, solve problems, set and achieve goals, correct their own work and conduct research.

About King’s Cross Academy
An IGCSE school in USJ 9, Subang Jaya, and sister school of Harvest Learning Centre, where academic excellence and character grow together.

Our story
King’s Cross Academy is a sister school of Harvest Learning Centre. We seek to inspire students and to give them the academic and social skills to fulfil their potential as responsible global citizens.
Based at Subang Business Centre in USJ 9, Subang Jaya, we offer the Cambridge IGCSE, the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 17 year olds, together with a Primary Programme for ages 7 to 12. Classes never exceed 14 students, so our teachers can watch each child closely, notice when they need help and stretch them when they are ready.
We highly encourage students to challenge themselves and to celebrate their creativity and individuality, through daily life in the classroom as well as sports, the arts, study trips and clubs.
To develop young people who are passionate about meeting the needs of the larger global community: a generation of learners who are not only academically excellent but also compassionate leaders who contribute positively to society.
To inspire students and provide them with the academic and social skills that will enable them to fulfil their potential as responsible global citizens.
We are committed to a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged and empowered to succeed.
Our teaching philosophy
Three ideas shape every lesson at King’s Cross Academy.
We develop students who are active rather than passive in their learning. They are trained to take charge of their studies, solve problems, set and achieve goals, correct their own work and conduct research.
Students are encouraged to challenge themselves and to celebrate their creativity and individuality, in daily classroom life and through extracurricular activities. Education here goes beyond textbooks: it develops the whole person.
While our students learn about the Christian faith, they also see, hear and experience different religions and cultures. We honour each individual’s beliefs, engage in dialogue and build a community of mutual respect.
